I remember Hashirama saying that he made the village so kids wouldn't have to go out to war and die young like older shinobi but then how could Tobirama allow The third hokage, danzou and the other elder to go on such a dangerous mission as kids with him? We of course know that they could be protected by Tobirama himself since he is the hokage but why risk taking them on such missions even if it was a state of war. It kinda goes against what Hashirama believed in, yet Tobirama made sarutobi a hokage as a teenager, what's up with that?

well for the most part kids don't have to fight from a young age and the villagers in the village are protected, people only become shinobi if they want to instead of a necessity and the very young ones don't fight in big missions. so he got at least a partial victory. minato was probably right that while there is a shinobi system peace can't be attained though.

Hiruzen was a grown man during that mission. Hashirama was talking about kids at the age of 6 being trained to fight and being sent out to war. No child that young is even allowed to participate in wars now. So his dreams were an epic successs

Well hiruzan and sarutobi didn't look like kids they look liked teens. But it's still better than before, during hashi's era 6 years olds were sent on succide missions, now that was Fukin cruel
