Hashirama's death

Hashirama's edo body is young and with full armor. I don't think his body has been manipulated like Madara's. So, it follows that Hashirama probably died in a battle

Any theories on how Hashirama might've died? Do we have any hints from the manga on this?

I don't think so, because Third Hokage wasn't surprised looking at Hashirama when Oro summoned him. And, even Hashirama wasn't surprised at his own body then and now
