This is the second dissapointing thread i've seen today,are u guys having a stupid competition?????

Its not...but at the same time yes on 3 possiable ways on who killed hashi maybe 4

Not really, or else Kakuzu would have boasted about it but instead he says he fought him and survived which actually is a big honour and shows to his opponents how strong he is.

It has been stated how Hashirama died.I think it was like a team of 21 elite shinobis.I would bet at least 6 of them were kage level, and like all the rest where Elite level jonin like kakashi.I say Hashirama killed at least 15 of them before he died.

I can 100 ways, which Hashirama could have been killed. Why are people so stressed about this?

And no, Kakuzu surely didn't kill him, he would have taken his heart then......

do you have a link or manga page for that, because I think you're talking about the flashbak of how sarutobi became hokage, and that was tobirama that died there.

I know a lot of you guys have been wondering how hashi died because
it's just like he's so powerful how can he die.
Well my theory of how hashi died is just going outside the box a little bit.
But after defeating madara hashi drained a lot of his energy, so what if
kakuzu came along and saw hashi and just killed him from there
because a lot of people forget that kakuzu did say he fought the hashi
and survived. So idk maybe he killed hashi.

But let me know what you guys think because i really don't know if somebody already
covered this or not lol XD

hashirama was a gentile spirit, he didn't even want to kill madara but saw no other way to protect the village and shinobi. I'm thinking madara survived barely simply because hashi didn't have that killer instinct in him, much like Naruto does.
I'm guessing this is also why kakuzu survived his battle but I agrea with the majority of people here, I don't think hashi was killed by kakuzu.
I've always thought that hashirama might have died just like his brother did, and like the third raikage did. taking on a large number of highly skilled people to let his comrades escape. this would be a noble death fitting a hokage and a man of hashirama's personality.
or someone found a way to supress his wood jutsu taking a large portion of his ability's away. we know it's possible, kabuto did it to yamato.
we just won't know unless it's told to us through the manga or the databooks

I have always wondered if his death is some how linked to the act of gathering the Bijuu & distributing them, maybe getting them all that close together triggered some Juubi like transformation, that he had to defeat at the cost of his life.shodaimeicon:

Kakuzu didn't defeat Hashirama. He was sent from Takigakure village to kill Hashirama but he failed the mission as Hashirama was too strong for him.

The only possibilities I can think of Hashirama's death are: either Hashirama sacrificed himself for something great or He over exerted himself during first world war.

I agree with you on that first option, If Kakuzu survived a fight with Hashi I think it means hashi showed mercy on Kakuzu or There were a lot of fodders which were elites on their villages and they fought and mya Kakuzu managed to escape.
