I think we went over this before. Hashi splits the land as well. He created VOTE, a splitting of far greater magnitude and speed than the small one that Konan did. The constant fists are far faster than even explosions themselves. I even made a Hashi speed thread about this.

Madara's PS sword alone was able to slash trough miles of thick mountain in what? A tenth of a second maybe? Of course we don't count the one second it took for the shockwaves to actually reach the mountains as that wouldn't be fair; they were really far away from the battlefield.

Hashi's punchs are faster than the PS swords as they were able to counter them. So, how can Obito stop something that is more than fast than the slice of PS? Especially when it's continuous.

Mokuton clones is a pretty good counter but that is if hashirama has any idea what kamui is. before he finds out, obito teleports in front of him and absorbs him.

Hashi would just instantly flex his charkra like Goku powering up, creating a 360 field of dense pressure that would force Obito to go intangible, hence making Obito fail to make contact.

He was able to almost crush the Naka shrine with a very casual flex of his charkra. Perhaps to him, it wasn't even a flex, but a slight twitch.
