I don't like the war because the alliance had a easy going for them. The enemy would just tell them any weaknesses they had in order to let the alliance win.

The war had it's moments no doubt, but there was a lot of trolls in it. Kabuto and Nagato lost in one shot, Edo's giving their opponents info in how to defeat them, Madara taking too long against the Kages, and Obito possibly him planning all of this because of Rin.

most of them were edo's and were being controlled against there will, the edo's were telling them because they didn't want to be controlled or used to kill there own villages.
