1. Irrelevant. You are going to need to provide some kind of evidence that Hagoromo would appear just to tell them a story. Hagoromo could have appeared to tell Naruto and Sasuke a story at any point during their lives, but only came when they almost died and the Juubi needed to be sealed, and Madara needed to be stopped.

Their answers are irrelevant. That was only for his curiosity. Sasuke's goal clearly wasn't good in comparison to Naruto's, and Hagoromo still gave him the power. Lol. I hope you actually don't think that Hagoromo would have let Madara end the world because he wasn't satisfied by their answers.

End of the world=/=People dying in a war. End of the world is obviously WAY worse. The sheer fact it's the Juubi, and the fact that Hagoromo feels responsible are two reasons why he would appear for this....along with the fact that without his power, no one can defeat Madara. Never said that she was irrelevant. I said that her being there when others got his power is irrelevant, assuming others did get his power, and I'm definitely not remembering anyone else.

Meaning he would have given them both power to begin with. That was the reason he gave BOTH of them power. The purpose of the power was to seal the Juubi. That simple.

Either they weren't strong enough, or most likely, they weren't pushed into a position where he needed to step in. When Madara became the Jin and almost killed them however, obviously seems like a good time to get involved.
