He has the strength to stop Kitsuchi's earth technique easily. He is also able to steal souls. What is Hashi's defense against that?
Deva Path is the most haxed path. It's control over gravity would crush any wood style jutsu Hashirama could throw. Look at the almighty push that destroyed the leaf. Further this path can use Chibaku Tensei which has extremely difficult to counter.
Then from there we have Preta Path. Absorbing Chakra is pretty OP what will Hashi do about that?
The Human Path very simply stole souls which again I ask how will Hashi avoid that?
We know Nagato can also use the Asura path

the footage was made by studio perriot(the people who make the anime). kishi gives them info on characters abilities. they couldnt make that without kishis approval. the fight may have not gone exactly like how it did in the game but it gives some insight on their abilities. do you really think tbb wasnt used at all in madara and hashiramas fight.

• Did you just say that the wood withstanded a TBB? Where besides in the noncannon video game footage?
• The chakra feet doesn't counter shinra Tensei as gravity is literally smushing you into the Earth. Every Bone in Hashi's body will break including his skull.
• The Op never said that this was Edo- Nagato and the reason he wouldn't have been able to summon was his summon was in use elsewhere. Now nothing stops him from using his summons.
• If Preta path gets a hold of Hashirama how can he formulte his chakra to perform a mokuton attack?
• How do you trap the centipede? or the bird?
• What happens if Preta and Human are being used simultaneously?

anyways i think nagato would win with high difficulty. the moment any wood style jutsu touches nagato, it becomes useless because preta path will absorb the chakra in it. hashirama would have to use taijutsu but it could be quite dangerous since hes against deva, asura, and human paths(which could suck hashiramas soul out of his body with a touch of a hand). hashiramas best bet is his bringer of darkness gengutsu, but even that is doubtful since nagato has the rennigan and can probably see through it.

Look at the Sannin battle. In the anime Tsunade punched Orochimaru 20 times in the manga she punched him once and it was done. In the anime she got completely trolled by Kabuto in the manga not so much.

preta path wont absorb hashiramas chakra instantly. hashirama makes wood spikes come out his body to counter human path. nagato wont get ahold of hashirama. the summons get restrained by mokuton. shinra tensei doesnt smush you into the earth. if nagato does this little magic trick (even though he doesnt have that ability) hashirama uses his healing ability. the people who make the anime made that footage. they couldnt make that without kishis approval. kishi gives them info on a characters abilities. are you trying to say tbb wasnt used at all in the madara vs hashirama fight?
