Hashirama vs. Madara

I am asking a question/theory. No negative Nancy's allowed!!!!

So when Hashi and Madara fought Madara obviously had the 9 tails. Do you think it is possible that the wooden statue that Hashi had was somehow an absorbed form of a gedo Statue? Maybe he absorbed a gedo statue like a jinchuriki. So he would be a jinchuriki to a gedo statue. Any logical thoughts?

Hashirama never knew about Gedo.

If there is only one gedo statue, and only Madara got one after fighting Hashirama, how in the world could Hashirama
have absorbed one. Unless you're suggesting that there were random Gedo Statues lying around in the world due to other
