Only thing I regret here is reading half tards comments like they have any decent knowledge of Joki Boi and overrated the hell out of Hashirama, to try and simplify the match up.

Then I asked you wants the difference? Direct Hit is an instance in which a shell or bomb actually strikes something and destroys or damages it (as opposed to landing close to it and destroying or damaging it by its blast).

Did Sand get a direct hit? Nope because it land close to it and some of its blast range blew the back out of Mother Sand.

In order to get the force full of an attack, you have to get effected by it at its strongest part first not partial. Therefore a direct hit is necessary .

Even if Joki Boy exploded against Mother Shield obviously some of the force would be reflected back in the opposite direction. Literally impossible for all the force to be absorbed.
Huh.. Almost like even if it was a direct hit, it wouldn't take the full force of the attack.
