Ay would blitz him and either punch him or lariat him. Either way, if Hashirama doesn't die on impact, he enters Sage Mode, heals his wounds and proceeds to beat Ay in the ground. If he does die..well, he's dead.

He's serious i guess he thought if he put the distance so close it would be more fair for Ei but the outcome will still be the same. Ei getting obliterated.

and even if he cant, then his healing would enable him to survive a blow,

I made this thread to see whether people thought Hashirama could react to a blitz from Ay at such a close distance(and with no intel on the Raikage's speed). I think Ay would "blitz" him, but Hashirama would heal from the wounds and kill him. So I think hashirama still wins.

Tsunade would easily be able to survive a blitz at this distance. But its not known whether it because of her Uzumaki genes or senju genes. So I can see Hashirama surviving the hit as well.

I never stated anything on regeneration but just being able to take the hit and surviving it. But no he stated Tsunade and Hashirama had alike techniques. Hashirama's regeneration works with his SM so he has to activate his SM for it to work.
