Am I the only one that thinks Hashirama's Wood Style should be called Tree Style instead? Or maybe Plant Style?
My reasoning behind this is that Hashirama and other wood style user's have synthesized non wood materials yet it still falls under the jutsu category of Wood Style/Mokuton.
An example of this is the leaves that appear when Hashirama uses 'Nativity of a World of Trees'. Obviously, wood and leaves are related but far from the same.
Another example of this is when the jutsu 'Advent of a World of Flowering Trees' is used. Once again, it creates giant flowers and massive amounts of pollen, both plant based derivatives that can come from trees but still not wood.
