Sasuke was never evil.... he is a vigilante. Hashirama's talk no jutsu will be more effective than Narutos because he is a much more credible source.

we dont know the other direction of sasuke yet...sasuke said Depending on the answers obtained from hashi he would either go for revenge on konoha or.....???(not known)...
so Even if sasuke gets satisfied by hashi's answer we cant say for sure that he will have a change of heart....
So I think apart from hashi's answer he needs something more...something NARUTO'ish.....
think it this way....
hashi would make sasuke's negativeness to zero...(best case)
and naruto would bring that to positive...
