There have been many threads demanding to know why Hashi was the strongest instead of listing his justu i thought i would explain the reasoning behind why he has garnered so much in justu in the first place.There is a good deal of people who in the face of showing all that he has choose to complain about how its just kishi stacking abilities when all his feast can be explained.
I hope this informs people in the dark on why he is revered to be as great as he seems to be.
The Senju clan gained their fame in the era before the founding of the hidden villages. Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were prodigious in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu. Because of this, they were known as "the clan with a thousand skills" (「千の手を持つ一族」, "sen no te o motsu ichizoku"), which gave them their name "Senju" (千手, "a thousand skills", "a thousand hands").This already establishes the he comes from a thriving and renowned clan for extraordinary talents.He reached fame across the lands as the member of the clan.This is another statement of his personal accomplishments as a powerful individual by the fact that out of everyone in his clan which produce strong shinobi that he was the one chosen to lead its people,which points to him that out of the strongest he was proven to be the top of the tier.Even further proof to the testament of his power is found in the fact he is reputed as the strongest shinobi even by his enemy Madara Uchiha.
Intelligence
He was also shown to be a very wise and insightful man.As the leader of the Senju clan, Hashirama held tremendous proficiency in many shinobi skills and possessed a considerable understanding of those he did not.During his time as Hokage, Hashirama came into possession of a scroll filled with, among other skills, various kinjutsu, and knowledge which he sealed away in order to keep the techniques within it a secret.
Strength,Speed and Endurance.
He inherited the Sage's "body" — He was an embodiment of life force{Yang chakra} and physical energy.
The chakra pathway system is enmeshed into the body and like blood vessels it touches and interacts with every single living cell and passes through every organ.This alone gives him a predisposition to enchanced strength and endurance.Proven by the fact he was known to have advanced ability in taijutsu with prodigious speed and strength.This granted him seemingly infinite pontetial and he has been seen to take full advantage of this finely attuned and natrual superiority of his body.This lead him to astounding feast at flawless mastery of his chakra.Example;
Chakra Control:Medical Abilities,Genjustu appitude.
Hashirama was also able to use medical ninjutsu.His skill with which were such that he could heal himself without forming seals.It is noted by tstunade that The use of medical ninjutsu requires very good chakra control.The Creation Rebirth technique is considered to be the absolute pinnacle of all medical ninjutsu,(The move is not unlike what hashirama performed which was though to be impossible which signifies he was more then proficient in this feild.
Which also proves his mastery of chakra control.Chakra control does not just substitute itself to medical ninjustu.Chakra control is a vital aspect in any form of ninjustu is it also a crucial cursor for perfroming genjustu.
He was well-versed in genjutsu and could perform powerful illusions such as the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.Genjutsu is created when a ninja extends their chakra flow through the cerebral nervous system of their opponent to control their mind, thereby affecting their five senses.Genjutsu attacks usually require a lot of skill, and, if performed incorrectly, will not work;Genjutsu is most often used by ninja with very precise chakra control and very high intelligence.
This continues to show his versatile ability to extend his chakra control into other territories.Where others seem to have limits or where there nature of skills prevent them from learning certain aspects of ninjustu or they are just not capable of them hashirama leaps from the fold by showcasing his broad nature.Which is reinforced by the very nature of his clan which is clan witha thousand skills.
Kenjustu,Funinjustu
He showed proficiency with both kenjutsu and fūinjutsu, carrying a scroll which he used to store a number of large swords for the former and in the latter, his use of the Contract Seal to break Madara's control over Kurama.Only ones who have the potential to control the tailed beast are the uchiha (Even then is very rare and so far only madara uchiha has shown to be able to do this.)His knowledge if funinjustu and ability to cast them gave him dominance over the tailed beast as he was able to collect seven out of nine of them before giving them to ther countries as gifts to ease tensions and promote stability over the nations.
