Hashirama was a tall man with tanned skin and dark eyes. He had waist-length black hair typically styled in a centre-parted fringe that framed his face. He often wore the standard shinobi dress of his era, consisting of dark red armour worn over a simple black suit with sandals. This armour was constructed from numerous metal plates, formed into multiple protective guards along his body; each collar of his shoulder guards bore the Senju symbol.

Personality:
Hashirama was an excitable man with a boisterous personality. He loved meeting new people, having friendly competitions, and gambling. Headstrong and often impulsive, it fell to others – such as his brother, Tobirama – to be more responsible or realistic about things that Hashirama had gotten carried away with. When taken down in this way, or even when simply presented with information that troubled him, Hashirama could do a near-immediate about-face, going from laughing to sulking. These moping periods were typically brief though, and he'd quickly go back to his usual high-spirited nature. Later generations upon meeting him, tended to remark that neither extremes of his personality were very fitting for a man called the "God of Shinobi".
Despite the first impression he may give, Hashirama was capable of being serious when it came to matters that were important to him. He spent years opposing the practice of sending children to war and dreamed of a shinobi system where a child could be around others his or her age, never needing to "grow up" prematurely on the battlefield. To that end he became very devoted to Konoha upon its foundation, as it was the realisation of his dream for peaceful childhoods. He wanted the rest of the village to cherish what Konoha represented just as much as he did, encouraging them to regard every villager as part of one large family that should always look out for each other. As Hokage, his job was to protect that family at all costs, even if that cost was his life. This philosophy, known as the "Will of Fire", would become a cornerstone of Konoha teachings for decades

Description:
By using Moku Chakra to power his physical abilities, Hashirama Senju will strike the target with a powerful kick, preferably against a wall or the ground itself. He will then dash towards the target and deliver a powerful drop or frontal punch. The strength of the punch is such that it fractures the earth up to mid range all around and may prove fatal if not defended against. While its main advantage is the freedom one has in terms of the type of kick and punch one can use, shaping the technique to be used in multiple different situations, this technique can also be used to defend against tangible attacks, such as Earth or Wood, up to the same rank. Its power is drastically increased if used in conjunction with Chakra Enhanced Strength.

Description:
After doing 3 handseals, the user will create a large human guardian of wood from beneath his feet. The guardian is the same size as a fully transformed Jinchuriki and can be used offensively or defensively. The guardian can also be combined with the Wood Dragon technique. In this case, the Dragon will coil around the guardian increasing its defensive abilities. Like all Wood Techniques, the guardian is very resilient against Bijuu techniques but the guardian adds a new dimension by being able to manipulate, to some extent, biju chakra. An extension of the (Kakuan Nitten Suishu) - Tenth Edict On Enlightenment, the guardian can suppress bijuu chakra attacks to the point its capable of grabbing a Bijudama with bare hands and dispel it. It can also be used as a medium for the aforementioned technique, dispensing the use of the wood pillars and touching the Jinchurikii directly. Only one guardian can be maintained active at any given time and it lasts while the user fuels the technique. To sustain the technique, the user must be in direct contact with the guardian and by fueling it becomes restricted in terms of elemental techniques, to Wood, Earth and Water techniques.. If the guardian is reinforced with a Wood Dragon, it gains +20 damage. The wood dragon can also be sacrificed to protect the guardian from up to one S-Rank technique, following elemental weaknesses and strengths.

Description:
Using Wood Release, the user will clap his hands together to create a dome-like defensive structure to rise from the ground at enormous speeds, that completely surrounds him, taking the form of a dragon's face. This defence is split down the middle and can be opened on the user's command. It is strong enough to withstand the destructive force of a Tailed Beast Ball and remain undamaged. It can defend the user from any S-Rank attack following elemental weaknesses and strengths and from any Bijuu attack.

Description:
After performing the required 3 hand seals, the user creates 4 gigantic wooden hands that erupt upward from beneath the ground, which encircle and then attempt to restrain a chosen enemy. The size of each of these hands is around the size of a tailed beast. If the hands manage to grab the enemy, they will be unable to use techniques due to the woods chakra absorbing abilities. Each hand can only be destroyed by S-Rank techniques but, due to their size, are not suited for attacking small targets.

(Kakuan Nitten Suishu) - Tenth Edict On Enlightenment

Description: The technique can be done in different ways, either on itself or by using other wood techniques as a medium. If used on itself, after performing the Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram → Monkey → Tiger hand seals, the user uses his chakra to create several reinforced dragon shaped pillars of wood that will surround the Jinchuriki or Bijuu, restraining his movements and imprisoning him in place. Once the user does the hand seals, in the palm of his dominant hand, the seal "sit" (座, suwaru) will appear. If the Jinchuriki is in Incomplete form, the pillars absorb its chakra and the transformation is halted while the host returns to normal. If the target is in Complete form, the user must, once the Jinchuriki is restricted, touch his skin with the palm that bears the Sit Seal, using his chakra directly to forcefully control the biju chakra and return him to normal. By taking control of the Biju through this technique, the user forcefully severs the connection between the Jinchuriki and the Biju, blocking his use of any Biju related technique as well as blocking his communication with it. The control last for 2 full turns and can't be overcome once set. Hashirama is able to use this technique with his Wood Release: Wood Human technique and the (Senpou Mokuton: Shin Susenju) Wood Sage Art: True Thousand Hands Technique as a medium, which, in this case, only requires direct contact between the guardian's hand and the Jinchuriki while Hashirama bares his palm forward with the "sit" mark on it. Yamato can use this technique through his trademark Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads technique as well. In both cases, because the user is making use of another wood technique as a medium, he doesn't need to do the hand seals and the normal procedure for it, needing only to bare his palm at the target (touching him if needed) with the "sit" mark.
Note: Only Yamato and Senju Hashirama bios can use this jutsu.

(Mokuton: Kajukai Kōrin) - Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees

Description: The user after performing the snake hand seal take advantage of the innate properties of Wood Release to be able to force trees to grow on any surface in an instant the user creates a dense forest of flowering trees. The pollen produced by these flowers is then released into the surrounding atmosphere and when inhaled, quickly renders the afflicted target unconscious. One way to counter this technique is to destroy the trees.

Description:After performing the two required hand seals, the user creates a gigantic wooden dragon from the ground directly beneath or near them, which can then be directed to attack an intended target. Its shape closely resembles a Chinese dragon, though with a short trunk-like nose (similar to that of a Hindu Makara), having an elongated and serpentine body that is longer than Naruto Uzumaki's Tailed Beast Mode, which can be used to constrict larger opponents. According to Madara Uchiha, Hashirama Senju used this technique to restrain Kurama in the past, which is proof that it has the same Bijuu suppressing/controlling abilities known to some Wood techniques. In fact, the dragon is capable of absorbing Bijuu chakra, weakening any Jinchuriki held by it. The user can keep manipulating and maintaining it as long as he keeps the Snake handseal made and expends chakra, acting as an active technique that can be shaped and controlled for a wide range of purposes, attacks and defenses. This technique can be combine with the Wood Human technique to boost its power.

Background Info
History:
Hashirama was born during the Warring States Period, the eldest of Butsuma Senju's four sons. Hashirama and his brothers grew up on the battlefield waging constant war with the Senju's rivals: the Uchiha. During his infrequent downtime, Hashirama met a boy his own age named Madara. The two quickly developed a friendly rivalry, be it skipping stones or urinating in rivers, with Hashirama typically winning their contests. Hashirama did not approve of this practice of sending children to fight and die, believing it would only increase the bitterness between the Senju and Uchiha, thus causing more deaths.
After the deaths of their brothers, Kawarama and later Itama, Hashirama and his remaining brother, Tobirama, decided a new shinobi system would need to be implemented to end the cycle of child deaths, a system that would require an alliance between the Senju and Uchiha. Like Hashirama, Madara was also a shinobi who had lost brothers on the battlefield. Together they imagined a world where children like themselves wouldn't need to fight and where their brothers would be safe from harm. As a precaution, Hashirama and Madara did not divulge their family names, but nevertheless discovered each other's identities: Hashirama was a Senju, Madara was an Uchiha; it was their duty to kill each other. Hashirama set this duty aside, unwilling to take his friend's life. Madara, however, decided their dreams of a peaceful world were impossible, and therefore ended their friendship so that they could kill each other without reservation.
Over the following years Hashirama and Madara continued to meet in combat. Hashirama could never bring himself to kill someone he still considered a friend, and Madara could never defeat Hashirama's superior abilities. In time, both Madara and Hashirama became leaders of their respective clans. Under Hashirama's leadership and extraordinary prowess, the Senju began to best the Uchiha Clan until at one point Hashirama had both Madara and Izuna at his mercy. However, unable to find the resolve to kill his childhood friend, Hashirama tried to send Madara a cease-fire request to broker peace between them and finally make their childhood dreams a reality. Although some Uchiha found the offer increasingly tempting, Madara was unwilling to accept after Tobirama killed his last remaining brother, Izuna. Wracked with grief, Madara made one final stand against Hashirama and the Senju and was summarily defeated. Tobirama attempted to kill Madara to finally end the fighting, but Hashirama stopped him, knowing that would only renew hostilities between the Senju and Uchiha. At Madara's suggestion, Hashirama offered to kill himself in order to achieve a peaceful resolution. As he was about to end his own life, Madara stopped him, moved by the gesture, and assented to peace.
The Senju, the Uchiha, and all their affiliated clans came together to found a village of peace, where children would never need to die in battle. Hashirama and Madara, rekindling their childhood friendship, called that village Konohagakure. Although Hashirama created much of the village's infrastructure with his Wood Release abilities, it was his wish that Madara become Hokage, the village's leader and protector. At Tobirama's insistence, the Hokage position was opened up to a vote by Konoha's villagers, and it was Hashirama that they elected into office. Hashirama wanted Madara to become his adviser so that he could improve his standing among the villagers and someday succeed him as Second Hokage. Madara felt that position would inevitably go to Tobirama, which would in turn end badly for the Uchiha. With his position in Konoha rapidly diminishing, Madara decided the village was a failed experiment and abandoned it, intent on someday returning to face Hashirama in battle yet again.

Abilities
Hashirama was famed as the strongest shinobi of his era, reputed as a God of Shinobi. Kabuto Yakushi claimed during the Fourth Shinobi World War that Hashirama's prowess had yet to be matched, with people regarding his abilities in a fantasy light. Madara openly admitted inferiority to Hashirama since childhood, and even with the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and the Nine-Tails at his disposal, he could never defeat Hashirama in their lifetimes. Hashirama was skilled enough in taijutsu to match experts like Madara and Hiruzen, and could cast genjutsu to lock a target in perpetual darkness for the technique's duration.

Chakra Prowess and Life Force

Hashirama's chakra was remarkably strong, so dense that it could create a surge of wind and crack stone when released. This is partly because he was an inheritor of Asura Ōtsutsuki's chakra. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, after seeing Naruto Uzumaki distribute the Nine-Tails' chakra to the entire Allied Shinobi Forces, Hashirama's clone claimed that Naruto had almost as much chakra as himself. His chakra control is advanced enough to perform various complex and large-scale techniques with only one to no hand seal at all.
Hashirama's life force also grants him enough stamina to fight nonstop for a twenty-four hour period while still left prime to battle, and a will strong enough to resist the control of the perfected Impure World Reincarnation with ease. His body was brimming with vitality, granting him considerable regenerative powers that could mend most injuries with no residual effects, an ability that only Tsunade has come close to emulating.

Senjustu (Requires Permission and Training)

Because of his large chakra reserves, Hashirama could use senjutsu and enter Sage Mode — a feat he could perform instantaneously. In this mode, he gains red (black in the anime) markings around and under his eyes as well in the middle of his forehead. While it is not known where he learned it, Hashirama proved formidable in its usage, riding about on his wood techniques as a means to be mobile in battle while maintaining the stillness of one's self needed to continue building up natural energy to keep this mode activated. His different wood techniques become much stronger while he is in Sage Mode. Hashirama could also perform the Sage Art: Gate of the Great God to bind targets, even those as large as the Ten-Tails.

RP Abilities:

  • He is a Water and Earth Specialist, capable of using one of the two with just one handseal and the other with quicker seals.
  • He is the original user of Wood Release, capable of using it with much greater speed, size and skill than other wood users and has access to Wood SM, a powerful Senjutsu using mode that enhances his Wood jutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu.
  • He has a very strong chakra and enormous stamina and endurance, gaining 500 additional chakra points.
  • He is a chakra sensor, capable of using the chakra sensing technique.
  • Hashirama is capable of using Regeneration Ability, allowing him to heal most damage that the user sustains without the need for hand seals. This allows him to heal burns, cuts, and even stab wounds or small fractures passively over time. More advanced applications require Wood SM to be active.

Description: This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal basic ninja tools, like shurikens, kunais, swords, etc into sealing marks placed on their clothes or their body. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks". The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced and one can unleash a barrage of weapons with great speed in a small time window. Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in fully extended form beforehand. Sasuke even shown that you can have the weapons connected to wires and linked to their sealing marks and used the technique in sealing marks he placed in his wrist bracers.
Note: Can summon up to 30 basic tools per sealing mark and can have up to 2 sealing marks.
