2) Hashirama fell under Madara's Genjutsu and Hashirama broke out of it at that moment.

But Hashi Didnt know How Madara could have survived so it couldnt be Your Number 2.

He realized he hit his limit. I doubt he sensed anything considering he stated that he believed wholeheartedly that he killed his friend. If he did sense something, he would have said it then. There's also no reason for Kishi to withhold this; Hashirama's return has come and gone.
