Maybe or maybe not, remember the tailed beasts are masses of chakra created by the 10 tails chakra and Minato and kushina sealed some of their chakra into naruto yet had thier full knowledge and powers.

You should remember Minato being sealed away didn't stop him from appearing inside Naruto with all of his knowledge did it? I think thier chakra are like their soul, the tailed beasts are masses of chakra created from the 10 tails chakra and they're alive. A better example can be Orochimaru's body was cut into pieces (white snake) but Orochimaru's chakra was inside Sasuke(Zetsu said Sasuke used to much chakra and couldn't surpress Orochimaru anymore)

Minato was the first one sealed away in death repear seal yet was able to appear inside Naruto inside Naruto because he sealed some of his chakra inside Naruto. Hashimara chakra is in yamato which is how he can use wood element. Also Orochimaru's body was cut to pieces and his chakra was inside Sasuke yet was able to come back.

I don't think so, Minato was sealed by death reaper seal yet was able to appear inside Naruto because he sealed his chakra inside Naruto so Hashimara's chakra inside Yamato can work in this situation.

Yamato said Hashimara's necklace Naruto have respond to Hashimara's chakra allowing him to control the Jinchuuriki's chakra so it's easy to say Yamato has Hashimara's chakra in him (wood element).
