Why can we only assume he can use them like Obito? Why not go with what's been shown, which was Hashirama subduing bijuu and having several under control(not meaning like how Obito had them).

It is unfair to make such comparisons as we are yet to see the fight between Hashirama and Madara. This fight will show us the full extent of Hashiramas powers.
