Hashirama left his KATANA to Madara

Japanese just love Katana, they greatly value it and it's symbolizes everything for them.

Why did Hashirama left it?

1. He don't need it anymore, the village was founded, fighting is over.
2. A Sign of Respect for his fallen friend and throwing away his weapon means forgetting the past.

How did Madara get's the DNA?

He got it from the Katana that Hashirama left. Science tells us that you don't really need much to acquire one's DNA. A drop of blood or even a shed skin is already enough to extract someones DNA from there. In a battle you can't avoid dropping some blood or shedding some skin. the chances that you can find a drop of blood or a shed skin in a KATANA after a hard fought battle is very very high.

Japanese people are very superstitious and religious, but they accept the facts that science presents.

How did Madara Survived death?

This one i'm not sure. but here's my idea. The stab was not fatal, the reason he undo his Sharingan is to conserve chakra.

Also he left a wood clone lying there on the ground. I would say that was a much easier source of DNA for Madara.

That said, interesting thread. I would say that the wound would have been fatal had not Madara used Hashi's DNA to sustain himself.

Are people still trying to figure out how Madara got the Senju DNA? I thought I would leave you guys to chat yesterday but it is obvious once you think about it, what weapon did Madara use on the clone? His fan, what does his fan do? It absorbs, not exactly sure what all it absorbs but energy is a definite so far, so I am pretty damn sure he used his fan to get the Senju DNA and used it right then and there to sort himself out
