Hashirama is not overrated or overhyped

Hashirama is the greatest ninja to live this should be be well known already. He Defeated Madara even though madara had possession of the kyuubi at the beginning of the fight, but later in the fight he freed the kyuubi from madaras control
and eventually won the fight. For him to defeat such an amazing ninja shows that he is indeed mighty and powerful. And we actually have witnessed the fight now so its not based on hype. Madara cheated death and further developed his skills and obtained the rinnegan and could possibly beat Hashirama, maybe. But the fact still remains that he at his maximum power got defeated by the first hokage. The only person who I think will surpass him in power is Naruto with the other half of kyuubi's chakra being given to him from Minato. If we look at the first's behaviour and naruto we can't help but notice the similarity. Their both kinda childish in a way.

I just don't get how people think when they say Hashirama is overhyped. If so in what way? Please tell me

ok so what would be the difference if he got the rinnegan? if you'l say madara could spam spam spam some meteor sh8t hashirama would just used his mokuton release in it, if madara used the 1st path ability, hashi could just used his mokuton release. grab it. there's a lot from mokuton that could counter the rinnegan..

Hashirama might have got beat by EMS Madara. EMS Madara might have put him in a genjutsu, which is very plausable. Notice how Madara has EMS, then suddenly in the next picture had regular eyes? Also notice the diamond by Hashirama, which insinuates that something is wrong. But I believe Hashirama is not over-hyped.
