That's what I was thinking too but it's kind of crazy in madara case he couldn't wait to go show his his power whereas hashirama is hang around

like madara, hashirama is already free from it but chooses to stay to relieve sasuke of his burden.
he told orochimaru not to worry as his top priority is relieving sasuke of his burden so that he wont turn into madara.

Sasuke understands that orochimaru didn't want to crush the leaf for menial reasons in the beginning.
He had deeper reasons too.
Thats what Sasuke thinks anyway.

Maybe you're right. I wonder how things will go. Although, Orochimaru said he'd let the Hokage enter the war after Sasuke is done with them. Will there even be a need for that?

He hasn't broken either. Hashirama is just too strong for Orochimaru to stop like he did Tobirama, but Hashirama is still very much under his control and the Edo Tensei.

I completely agree with you, I am just saying Tobirama should be able to break free, he created the damn skill lol
