I don't get kishimoto's concept behind this. You are gonna create him to be Ashura's reincarnation... yet give him a hairstyle that doesn't fit the parallel.

He's a reincarnation , Reincarnations have different personalities based on their upbringing since they have no recollection of their past lives , so , maybe he decided to spike his hair up like that? Maybe his dad didn't like it? Whatever reason , does it even matter? =/
