I agree that Edo madara>>>Hashi but I don't think that EMS madara and hashi were equal because If I'm correct madara used the kyuubi in his fight with hashi and still lost.

you just need a mangekyou sharingan to control the kyubi

what i dont understand is why some people act like edo tensei madara is madara's own ability. its not, kabuto gave him that. what happens when he is released or defeated? do we still go with edo madara as our example of madara's power? that doesnt make sense. he gets that once and its his power now and forever more? ok fine, how about edo hashirama vs edo madara? why not do that? because hashirama didnt release himself? i wonder why, even though his brother created the jutsu, he didnt release himself? its because kishi never thought of that at that point. so lets give hashirama edo tensei from now on. and you know what, hashirama had all the tailed beasts at one point in time so in every battle we talk about for him in vs threads he gets all the tailed beasts. so now its edo hashirama and 9 tailed beasts vs edo madara. who wins now? i honestly dont know but i'd like to assume hashirama. oh wait, its unfair to give him edo and 9 tailed beasts isnt it? its unfair because those werent part of his consistent arsenal right? same with madara. please dont give him edo it isnt his jutsu. its not like he revived himself and gave himself unlimited chakra.

note: i am not a hashirama fan. i am just a realist. neither one of them should get edo or tailed beasts. it should be rinnegan madara vs hashirama. that should be the only battle discussed. no edo nonsense.

not a hashi fan already said that. make the fight even? of course thats the point. never fought with them? 1. no proof 2. still had them under his control which means he could fight with them. why blame him for never having to use them?

i agree. i think any GREAT sealing user with other elite skills MIGHT be able to beat madara. edo may actually backfire in the end because all you have to do is get a hand on him to seal him. the second that it takes to do that is less than the amount of time that it would take to actually kill him. of course, getting a hand on him is hard but it would be the same difficulty as when he was alive without edo. difference is now, you dont have to kill him, only seal him which is easier. a good example of this is minato. sealing skill? yes other skills? yes. capable of getting a hand on madara? maybe, but thats all it takes to stand a chance. if hashirama knew sealing jutsu he would stand a chance i think. other than that, in terms of raw power madara is stronger with edo, but that could backfire. or hashi could just appeal to his emotions and make him dissappear, but i dont see that happening. if madara is capable of keeping hashi's and minato's hands to themselves, which he is definitely capable of doing, he can most certainly defeat them. all i'm saying is that there is a chance.
