I want to address the possibility of Hashirama cells being transferred to offspring and the potential benefits. We know that there is powerful yang energy in Hashirama's cells and they are strong enough to produce a rinnegan when combined with a powerful yin energy. At least that's the process of sharingan.
In Naruto to Boruto's case the Hashirama cells affect the right arm. Boruto has a Jougan on his right side. Could the Hashirama cells have an affect on this development? For whatever reason Boruto's karma seal makes a design around his eye as if it is connecting the yin energy in his eye to the theoretical Hashirama yang in his arm. As his skill with the karma seal develops so should his Otsutsuki yin/Hashirama yang connection. Who knows what types of kkg he has up his sleeve.
Sarada would have received her inherited Hashirama cells in her heart. This is the traditional way of unlocking the rinnegan except she would have a more organic way of unlocking it than her predecessors. Possibly even having a mutation that surprises everyone.
