It's not that the have the same personality it's the type of manga that has this personality. The type of manga DBZ and Naruto are shonen. MANY anime characters have this personality. It is not just a Naruto copied DBZ thing. DBZ copied this personality trait from anime before them. In fact, there are many things that are the same in shonen anime beside their personality. If other people read things beside DBZ and Naurto, they would know.
