Welllll, if Hashirama stays and was at full powered, having Madara revived back would be irrelvant. So Kishimoto played it smart with making Hashirama weaker through the Edo Madara vs Edo HAshirama fight, and then BAM Madara goes back to full power, while Hashi is still weakened.
