Hashirama doesn't fit the mold

Most base on last chapter are going to make the conclusion that hashirama was also the sage's recarnation like naruto. I believe this to be false

here we see ashura wasn't good from the start, but after training and the help of others he got to indra's level

Conclusion: becasue hashirama seemed to fit the mold of ashura's reincarnate, his defeat of madara has lead people to believe that ashura beat Indra, and that naruto will follow suit and beat sasuke. While the last remains to be seen, this thread clearly proves that hashi was of a different breed than naruto and ashura, and the result of his fight with madara isn't a benchmark for future results

Hashirama does fit it. Hashirama rallied the whole hidden leaf village together made of different clans and was pure. The only thing that does'nt match is that he did'nt suck at fighting. But he always trained hard. If not hashirama than who else? It did not go from ashura straight to naruto.

Itachi made him rethink all of his choices up to that point and so he sought out the Hokage and now he is fighting with the alliance and declaires he will become Hokage.

And that's your only arguement really. Everything else fits it. Every reincarnation does not have to be completely the same. They all have different stories. And if you saw the pillars in the manga he transmigrated many times throughout the generations. And I'm sure all of them did not suck all the time.

Slim reaper and jokule both make good points. However the sages sons were of the same generation. Hashirama and madara also the same generation. Naruto and sasuke same generation. It would be odd if naruto is reincarnation of younger son and madara reincarnation of older son . The pattern would be off.
