Hashirama died at the hands of an Uchiha.

In previous threads i theorised that Hashirama was killed by Madara. This would have happened in a second fight between the two (on the battlefield) and Hashirama dies during this fight. Madaras plan the first fight was to collect Senju DNA and then fight Madara again later.

Edo Madara says to the Gokage "I did have a proper death match with Hashirama".
Well, we know Madara did in fact NOT die in this death match. That leaves only one option... Hashirama died.
Madara killed Hashirama during the fight, and probably assumed the Gokage knew this. Thats why he said it in a manner that was very assuming and confident. Why else would he call it a death match? If he himself survived?

It also fits in with the entire storyline of Naruto, Sejnu and Uchiha are mortal enemies (like Obito tells Naruto at the summit) Senju and Uchiha have killed each other for generations, the entire point of the Naruto-storyline is that Naruto and Sasuke are the ones that are going to break this tradition, they are the new generation and will live together as one village, one Konoha. This is also Itachi's will "I failed in my mission, but i'm sure Naruto wont"

My point being, Hashirama had to have died at the hands of an Uchiha, if not Madara, someone else that is Uchiha

A death match is a death match when the opponents have the intent to kill.

Wrong, Hashirama thought Madara died at VoTE, he said he was sure he was dead, if they fought a 2nd time then he wouldn't have said that.

Also many think just because a ninja have a lot of power, that they can't be beaten by a team of elite ninjas. They call Tobirama weak cause he died from fighting Kin/Gin who both have someof Kurama's chakra, Sage's weapons and saidto be the worst criminals in cloud history plus 18 other elites. Something similar could have happened with Hashirama, Noone can really think only Madara Izuna, Tobirama and Hashirama were on a level beyond kage level. Other ninjas would be kage level or close to the level of the 4 mentioned with abilities and jutsus the might make them a difficult fight.

It's also about strategy, landscape, if 2 or more villages allied together and sent their best. We don't know but I hope we see it.

Yeah and Madara said only Hashirama could stop him so Hashirama is =/> edo Madara. And Madara didn't do anything cause he feared that Obito would see thru his plan, Obito, half Senju! haha. Hashirama never got sealed by Hashirama, a puppet of Hashirama did or do you have scans of a non controlled Hashirama getting beat? Madara and Obito are halve Senju so I can say the same for Senju defeating people.
