Hashirama DIDN'T fight against Perfect Susanoo?!?

What if Madara never was able to get the Perfect Susanoo until now? I mean, you wouldn't have expected him to know how to get out of Edo Tensei...
Maybe it's a requirement for the perfect Susanoo that Madara couldn't meet when fought against Hashirama. Maybe he found it out later.. Who knows?
We only have to wait for Kishi to reveal us that.

Damn, I just though of this -_-. BUt yes this pannel does imply that he did not use PS susanoo against hashirama. But Madara is a bit full of him self and I doubt he would hold back against his eternal rival which surpassed him. So yeah , this questions a controversial one in the end.

Nope hes used it before, hence him saying " It is said that anyone who has seen it dies". Meaning he would have had to use it before to gained that reputation.

Ive always said that controlling a tailed beast something like the 9 tails will limit madara's doujutsu powers because its that, that he is using to control the beast. Saying that what madara said doesnt necessarily mean that hashirama didnt face a complete susano. Hashirama died in battle most likely. The only person during his time that could challenge him was madara. I believe hashirama won the fight as the manga went, but died from his injuries. Therefore he did face a final susano, but died from his injuries later on. Also as its been said hashirama was a master medic yet after the fight with madara we saw that he was still very wounded and exhausted and in fact sill had battle injuries even after all his medic prowess.

yep i mentioned just that in my prevoius post, this is most likely the case.




Also any1 saying madara didnt fight full power on purpose just got proeven wrong from madara personallity we saw during the fight with the kages.

Madara of all people doesnt let themself lose on purpose. that much we can say 100%.

read the old chapters when Madara says "At least Hashirama isn't here because the extent the map has to change will be reduced". Tsunade then goes on to say "Did my grandfather really fight this guy"

Also the old man asks why didn't he use this power when they fought Madara replied what adult goes all out on a kid? This is part of Madara's EMS power.

Why would he say that if Hashirama fought against Perfect Susanoo and survived? Clearly this suggests Hashirama didn't fight against Madara's perfect Susanoo. Or, it suggests that Hashirama died at VOTE, which seems unlikely. Therefore, we must assume the former. Hashirama may not have been as strong as some people think.

I pretty much agree but still confused as to why madara who had his perfect susanoo out stated at that point only hashi could defeat him making it seem like even with the rinnegan and perfect susanoo hashi could still defeat him

Well, we don't really know right now. I'm not sure if perfect susanoo requires a rinnegan or not. If it does, then hashi probably didnt fight against it since madara didn't awaken the rinnegan until a while after he lost to hashirama, he only had EMS at the time.

Its to my understanding that people that are revived using the Edo Tensei will be revived with the looks and age they had when they died, right? So that means the First Hokage died pretty young.

It is not a contradiction though. All i've said is that Hashirama did not fight Perfect Susanoo at that time. It doesn't mean he could not defeat it, simply that he did not fight it then. THAT it what most people don't realise. Hashirama > Madara, Madara > Hashirama is a different story.

Summoning and controlling the Kyuubi would affect Madara's dojutsu abilities. So him having both Kyuubi and Perfect Susanoo seems unlikely, and is backed up with the page I showed + no way Hashirama can beat Kyuubi and Perfect Susanoo.

Hashirama didn't defeat kurama. He took control of it and Mito sealed it inside of her.

Also you have to remember that Madara couldn't use the perfect susano'o for too long, because it must drain a lot of your chakra.

He says only hashiram stands a chance but he doesnt say he fought it.

But he did say that no one lives after they see it. which leads us to believe that hashirama didt fight Perfect Susanoo.
