If he did.. why did he return to his prime state? cause he was still weakened.

Lets assume it wasnt you that got hit by a car but rather a loved one. Are you telling me you would feel no animosity towards the driver of the car since your loved was the one that decided to end his/her life?

Madara never got back into his prime.. meaning he never healed the wound fully... He could've just gotten a Mokuton transplant like Obito and so on.
