Madara's sharingan was off due to chakra exhaustion which was the same reason Hashirama was out of SM. Its a little bit like Naruto and Sasuke too in the fact that Hashirama didnt want to kill Madara but had no choice at the end. I think if Hashirama would have started the fight with the intent to kill, it would have been over much sooner.

No it's not. Kyuubi was Genjutsu'd, unlike when he is in Naruto.
And Kyuubi (100%) was directly involved in the fight, not through Chakra.

And that changes the point how ? Kyuubi was tamed and used like a weapon, he didn't have any conscience at the moment. Otherwise you should count the scythe and the Gunbai too, and make it this way a 4 vs 1... :|
