Hashirama and Sage Mode

Why is he able to use it so effortlessly? Why doesn't he need to build it up like Naruto? He just instantly activates sage mode.

Also, he doesn't just get markings on his eyes from SM but all over his face. Does that mean he's taken Sage Mode a few steps further than what we've seen? Meaning the markings start with the eyes but as you progress and get better with it they spread?

Or is he just using a different Sage Mode? Although that wouldn't make sense to me because isn't SM just absorbing senjutsu and balancing equally it with your chakra and stamina?
That would make any type of Sage mode the same wouldn't it?

hashi didnt learn SM from the toads dont ask where i dunno...not every sm has the same markings and if u notice every time he wasnt to go SM hashi claps his hands and staying still for few sec's i quess thats the time he needs to go SM

Hashirama is way more experienced than naruto at using SM. Naruto has been using SM for just a few months, that's why he can enter it faster. I also have a theory that the higher one's chakra levels the quicker they can gather natural energy.

His irids turn golden, it's just his pupils that don't change

There are different types of SM. Even though the way to enter them is the same.

I mean the time it takes to go into Sage mode. He needs a few minutes.
Hashi claps and then Sage Mode. Lol

I'm just finding out there's a slug SM although it hasn't been shown. I wonder what that grants the user.

Currently Naruto seems to enter SM instantly. Besides Naruto with Kurama literally absorb Nature energy in less than 5seconds..

Hashirama was in his mid 30's. Naruto was just 18.
Hashirama is in his prime so he has larger chakra reserves.
Naruto was still developing and his chakra reserves are still not reached its potential.

More chakra can absorb narutal energy faster.
