Hashirama and Madara. . . . BFFs

So heres the deal, in every manga a rivalry usually starts off as a friendship (i.e Kakashi and Obito, Sasuke and Naruto, Jiraiya and Orochimaru, and the list goes on for other animes) Everything is good until a point in their lifes where they decide to follow different paths for whatever reasons. For Obito it was the death of Rin. For Sasuke it was the revelation of Itachis secret. For Orochimaru it was the desire to become immortal.

We all know that Madara wanted to become the ruler of all Konoha regardless of the circumstances. Always sticking with his clan no matter what. This is why their was a rivalry between him and Hashirama. Both Senju and Uchiha in an eternal struggle. What if Madara and Hashirama were the original friends between Senju and Uchiha. Their rivalry is probably the greatest in the Naruto verse. They had to have met each other even before they were destined to fight each other. Maybe this is an untold story that will unfold during the Naruto vs Madara fight. It would be hilarious to see Madara beaten by talk no jutsu.

+ rep i do not agree that they were best of friends but the relationship between them had to of started at some point for the fued to even begin.Somone has already pointed out a friendship between them being possible im glad its catching on not many people have speculated about this.

i think there was a sort of friendship there maybe in the way Danzo and Hiruzen were friends.. hashi probably thought of him as a friend but madara saw him more as his rival someone to surpass idk..
