Hashirama and Itachi

btt, it should be clear that Hashirama talked in a moral sense by putting Itachi above him. What kind of information does Hashirama have about Itachis abilities, to be sure he is inferior? He knows nothing about Itachi's but his actions, logically he spoke about them, about what Itachi has done for the village.

But Itachi's a lot smarter, and as he said, "Every jutsu has a weakness. The weakness to your jutsu is... me."

Basically, between Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Izanami, and the Totsuka, Itachi has the offensive oomph.

So as long as he outsmarts his opponent in maneuvering, he can beat just about anyone.

And since Itachi tricked Sage Kabuto with a clone feint twice, there aren't many people he can't trick that way.

people/fans only took what hashirama said out of context

-because of the fact that they can use this to get under peoples skin, like you
and because other people use what they call 'logic' in a similar scenario that ironically is the same situation when they're defending a character that they favor more.

this not only leaves you vulnerable, but it slightly makes you look ignorant.
we know that hashirama wasn't implying that itachi was stronger that him any given category other than being a shinobi/ninja, but at the same time, hashirama isn't saying, "he's a better shinobi than me by the choices he made, but i know i know i'm still stronger in a fight."

Why on earth would he ever have to use ALL of them?

If Tsukuyomi lands, the battle is over.

If (his) Amaterasu lands, the battle is over.

If the Totsuka lands, the battle is over.

So with a clone feint, creating a dust cloud, etc. He could land those techniques.

We know Hebi Sasuke lasted because Itachi wanted him to.

Edo Nagato had to regenerate a few times from Amaterasu/Susano'o landing.

Kabuto had full knowledge and couldn't be killed or his Edo Tensei would forever be active.
