Like it says in the title, kishi should have given them the chance to use moves like these in the war. I mean whats the point in bringing back legendary powered kages with an apparently unlimited amount of chakra if you're not gonna let them do stuff like this?

Kishimoto has to follow plot. Besides, it is not like they are fighting a army of Zetsu. They are come together to fight a one common enemy, Obito (a former Juubi Jinchuuriki) and then Madara - who is a Juubi Jinchuuriki .
