I am pretty sure that Hashirama is fully capable to break the edo restraining and has already broken edo restraining.

After-all Hashirama and Madara are eternal rivals. If Madara has broken edo restraining already by himself then Kishi will/must make Hashirama break the edo restraining also; then only Hashiarma will be on par with Madara's level...
