Hashi DOES kill himself after their final battle!

Hashirama does kill himself clearly not straight after 624 but tell me how else Hashi could have died?
It's clear that after he believed he'd finished Madara, he killed himself as a desperate act for forgiveness.

If you disagree you'll soon be proved wrong...

Another angle is he killed himself after beating Madara (but not killing him) on Madara's word that he'd finally forgive the Senju and let Konoha be one....

It does seem most likely; he would build the village and make sure it was alright, then fight Madara and let the final fight be there.

I used to think he might have died from an eight gates kind of side effect from maybe the overuse of his sage mode, or from sacrificing his life to heal others, like what Tsunade's going to do to the Kages. But with this latest chapter I think the most likely reason was suicide (Jesus Style)

I agree.... I read somewhere else that after listening to Hashirama.... Sasuke has a change of heart and he decides that he will die at Naruto's hands....but....
When Hashirama tells him how he died Sasuke realizes that Naruto will commit suicide if Sasuke dies by Naruto's hands....

well fine then he doesnt kill himself after it as i believe mito had never given birth at that point as it was stated that kushina went through the same thing as mito did at child birth as sometime during the final battle mito sealed kyuubi in herself and later in the years gave birth and i doubt mito is the type of woman who re-marry after her husband dies
