By numbers then absolutely yes, If I remmeber correctly back when I joined every single person use to make at least 13 paragraphs long theories about the ending of naruto :lol, and like 20 itachi threads a day, plus naruhina vs narusaku threads............

How do I say this? basically every fanbase had a specific group of members who use to defend the shit out of it, now it's only sasuke and sometimes naruto. But even then people use to say that it wasn't the same.

We do kind of salt their wounds and run them out at any given opportunity lol.

But people like Femme stand the test of time.

Yea we do not have manga peeks like that. Despite all the bashing Naruto was one of the most popular series in recent times so it's natural. But with new manga additions NB is doing OK. Don't forget to count hits on Mangabase page.

According to the vBulletin stats, the amount of posts have lowered quite a bit since last year the same time. However the amount of registering users is still the same. But the amount of posts that was made the last half year before the manga 'ended' can't be really compared with, if I go back a little further than that in time, it's exactly the same as now.

So I suppose it's relative what you compare with, if you compare with when it 'ended' yes at the end it was way more active by any means, simply because of the discussions and predictions of how it would end.

Yeah this was as said a 1 day thing cause the manga got released later than normal and the guests were flooding to refresh the site, so that everyone piled up to read it instead of reading it at different times through the day. Normally it would be around 4-5k on the manga release days, whole day around, so it's not all that different from now. So if manga gets delayed now it'd look the same pretty much.
