[Question] Has the anime improved?

So basically I was going to wait until Dressrosa was over in order to watch the anime because of the bad pacing and whatnot. However I find myself with a lot of time on my hands so was wondering whether or not the anime improved. The last episode I watched was Jura vs Brook.

Hmm, not really. The pacing is still slow as ****. Like, one episode is not even a whole chapter sometimes (alot of times). Stay away from it.

Now, there are a few good episodes from time to time but I'd say this happens 3-4 times per year lol

Right now, it's decent. The art for the recent episodes were above average (compared to your typical OP ep.) and they looked really nice. The anime's biggest problem is it's consistency with art/animation & obviously the pacing. No point in complaining about the pacing since it's been like that over a decade. Dressrosa arc was poorly done, the art was terrible for the most part and it's only getting better now. The only episode that was done well in this arc was the first ep. of Dressrosa.

Yeah Toei should just give the rights away for their best watched show and the most popular franchise in Japan, Toei has nothing to gain by animating it better, it would just cost them more.

Anime is so bad compared to manga but I still watch it and damn it, can't wait for the new episode every week. Meh... >_>
