Like imagine if me, I started to act really badly in front of people.
I become a menace, a real menace to the peace.
One approach could be to be kind to me.
Another approach could be to jail me.
A third could be something in between, maybe take me to a home or something.
Bottom line is I think society is still struggling with finding something humane to do with people who are a menace.
We don't want to think about it, ackowledge it even, but the world can be a dangerous place if you don't act right.
If you start to become a menace, people might do all sorts of things to you.
