What if he wasn't really dead and instead just cast genjutsu on everyone to make it look like he was? Or if he cast a genjutsu on Itachi and he still had 1 eye or both?

So he got BEAT by Danzou but was able to manipulate Itachi? After he gave him his damn eye...? Why let Danzou get your eye if your plan was to fake your death. He gave one away and the other got took, I'm sure the real Shisui would work out a plan that would atleast allow him to keep ONE of his eyes. I dont think so.

I'm pretty sure the 3 Uchiha's that confronted Itachi at his house said they found the body by the river, but I could be wrong. IDK to lazy to go look. But if it was a genjutsu cast on everyone to think he's dead. That would be by far the most OP jutsu in series. C'mon now seriously a genjutsu on everyone, now let's see that sounds awfully familiar.
