despite his arrogance, he's human. Humans make mistakes and wrong judgements. Just like what happened with Karin... he did apologize. nobody was expecting that but every hypothesis could come true.

In all honest they would be safer there. If Sasuke didnt see as assets then them being caught up by the enemy away from harm would be best. It would be safer and allow Naruto and Sasuke to fight more freely

Those other times hurt so much becuz she still cared about Sasuke, but it seemed that he didn't care about her. Its kinda odd that every time Sasuke has neglected Sakura recently she was in 0 danger.

And it all happened after it was stated that Sakura wanted to save Sasuke

Do you see any tenderness in Sasuke's eyes? He looks cold as ****. If anything, Sasuke's thinking, "so she's useful after all....good...she'll come in handy later..."

IF Sasuke's going o end up with anyone it's going to be Karin. He clearly holds her in high regard (except for when he went insane)....she's the only person on the planet he has ever apologized to and he respects her unique abilities.

Him getting with Hinata would be cool too if things don't work out between her and Naruto.

But my first post is just referring to what happened in the last chapter, where Sasuke acknowledged what Sakura did, so he showed his care this time.

I'm talking about "care" in the sense of caring for someone important and valuable for him in life. Sakura is just a useless former teammate for him, nothing more. His care for her was just a care for a former teammate when he saved her from the Juubi minions.

You replace Sakura and Kakashi with say, Itachi. If Itachi was 200 meters from him during the IT, he would save him without hesitation from being caught, even if it was an incapacitated Itachi.
