I'm on like episode 70 something with the anime. And I didn't start reading the manga toward the end when the dragon slayers failed to beat the dragons.

I see. I haven't seen them tag team yet. I've seen them fight another team. Like 2 on 2. I can't recall them teaming up to beat a single opponent. Like Gajeel and Natsu vs Laxus.
