Thts a gd question thats wondering in our mind rt now but naruto surpassed minato when he got kurama on his side I.e mode 2. In mode 1 yamato tells him that he isn't to the level of 4 hokage yet.
And the main reason naruto surpassed minato is power of kurama himself which naruto can use completely in bijuu transformation and minato wasn't able to defeat kurama he just could seal it

I question your reading skills if you actually asked if Naruto has truly surpassed Mianto. It was quite obvious that he surpassed Minato 100 chapters ago.

Doesn't matter if Minato went in the way, he still should have enough chakra to ftg.

My point is that Kurama being suppressed is not impressive because Kurama was suppressed Kushinas chains and had half his sealed and was still overwhelming Minato.

They are both faster than Raikage so their speed could be called equal, Minato has countered TBB's before. I don't see how its that much of a certainty to everyone.
