You know, it is possible to grow up and mature, all while still being immature, goofy, and a bit stupid. It's not like once you start to grow up, you have to be this mature, serious adult.
I really don't get why people want Naruto to grow up and be all maturer and serious anyway. Plus he shows signs or being mature and all that when it's needed most, just like most people. I think it makes his character and personality better and more enjoyable.
