Each path was already dead though and merely puppets of Nagato. On a personal level to Naruto however, it may have felt like killing living people if he had not yet realized they were just puppets. In that sense it proves he is capable killing but still hasn't done so.

It's just really funny I have never thought of this until now lol. Like people have previously said almost everyone else in the series has killed someone.
Though if you remember his big line is that if you hurt his friends he'll kill you. really he should just say "if you hurt my friends I'll set up an elaborate plan for your assisted suicide that you don't know you want yet"

It seems like every time he get to the point where he would have to kill somebody, he always manages to free them from there "Darkness" or someone else finishes them off.
He had killed 2+ people in side anime arc Rasengan to the chest. One with the 6-tails arc he kills the calligraphy ninja and kills a flying umbrella Rain ninja in the "forest" where people get lost and can't find a way out (kills him bu jumping on clones in order to get to him while he is flying away).
There can be more but cant remember and in no way there were any corpse display in order to keep the "pure" "hero" image he is portrayed in, tho he is supposed to be a killer for hire he acts more like a cavemen samurai.
60% = converted enemies , 38% = after a failed conversion commit suicide,
1% = unknown, 1% = ups factor
Ninja description = Kill now, don't ask questions, never turn your back to the enemy, stab your enemy if he starts to tell you his sad life story, kick them while they are down (dead man tell no tales), etc.

´Naruto has killed lots of people. Tho he is more of the "Assist-in-suicide lal"

Umbrella Rain Ninja: Hello! I'm here to eat icecream and spew bubblegum. And i'm all outta Icecream!
Naruto: Hello! I am a Ninja who is gonna be Hokage..Hokage...Hokage...Hokage(Carries on), And i'm going to defeat you!
Umbrella Rain ninja: Really? You can't best me!
Naruto: If i cant beat you, i'll make a smart strategic plan that involves you being killed from a sickness or disease. Whereof i wont kill you instantly. But let you suffer and have a heroic speech that will then become a elaborate tricking of assisting suicide.
*Umbrella Rain Ninja get's killed by Naruto's Rasengan.*
Naruto: That saved me trouble!

Naruto: I'll have a 20 minute speech wich ends with you ressurecting everyone in the village. And then i'll walk out and you'll die a horribly painful death that will HURT LIKE HELL. Oh and i come to Kakashi and i get celebrated as a Hero but then get ignored all of a random sudden and people stop giving a rat's dumb beiber ass about me.
Nagato: I'll take the hard way. Seems more dramatic for me.
Naruto: Thought so.
