Yeah, Luffy has now improved his gear 3rd so much that he doesnt have to face the side effects and also now his gear 3rd attacks have also gotten faster than before.

He didn´t get smaller against kraken, he didn´t get smaller against the 100.000 new fishman pirates, he didn´t get smaller against Hody and he didn´t get smaller when destroying Noah.
I think he overcame it even before the timeskip since he didn´t get smaller at marineford and i don´t think he got smaller when the whole crew was fighting and having trouble with 1 pacifista lol, i can´t believe how much stronger they´ve gotten.

wel their improvement over the timeskip makes sense..they've spent 2 yrs training with some of the best obviously there will be results...unlike naruto goes off with jiraiya comes back few years later the only thing changed was his height and a bigger rasengan

Boa is completely up to date on the manga, don't insult him just because he is basing it off the fact that luffy has not personally stated that the side effects are completely gone.

Also, use spoilers when you're talking about things that haven't been seen in the anime yet. You could ruin the story for others.

My thoughts: It seems as though he has over come the side-effects in his 2 years of training, but until Luffy states that they are completely gone we cannot know for sure.

Yes, because everyone was so sure that Luffy could do separate body part G2 until the anime showed that there was no difference. But of course, you know better since you say I'm not on the latest chapter. Lol.

Sometimes, how the mechanic works is shown in the anime. You should go do that.

He has overcome it since when he usually does the gear third he becomes a lil runt, now after the timeskp, when he does gear third, he don´t become the lil runt so he has overcome it, both in the anime and manga have we seen him use it wihout side-effects and oda don´t need to explain that it doesn´t have side-effects for us to get that it doesn´t have side-effects anymore.

Oda believes in his fans intelligence so don´t disappoint him by waiting for the OP characters to confirm it for you to get it.
