Has Kakashi really trained anyone? *Possible Spoilers*

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. It's stated in the start that Kakashi has failed every single team of Genin that he had. Then comes along Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura and he passes them. They go on the mission in the land of waves and he teaches them how to climb a tree using chakra. Next, he enters them into the Chuunin Exam and then when Sasuke and Naruto make the final round, he runs off with Sasuke and leaves Naruto's training to Ebisu. Okay, afterward, Naruto trains with Jiraiya a little bit before the final round. Sasuke shows up and demonstrates the use of the Chidori (Lightning Blade). Afterwards, Sasuke defects to go train with Orochimaru, Sakura decides to become Tsunade's apprentice, and Naruto goes off to train with Jiraiya for around 3 years.

So, my question remains, has Kakashi really trained anyone?

Of course they learned from Kakashi, this is not debatable! Kakashi is like a very good teacher, whereas the Sannin are like college professors. Just because the Sannin taught more to them, does not mean they learned nothing at all from Kakashi :|
