kakashi has been hyped like everyone else. Still when he had the sharingan there is no way he was not top 20 atleast top 25 material. He has the ability to suck anything into another dimension at amazing speeds. Even Naruto, itachi, pain, and a lot of other powerful ninja find him powerful and, or dangerous. Now that he does not have the sharingan he is much weaker but saying he sucks is stupid. He is the strongest jonin in the series. Their is no one who has not attained the rank of hokage or sanin that is better than him at his best(except kisame maybe) and I personally think he could beat mei from what we have seen. And don't hand me that gai can beat him because opening 8th gate is not a victory. To win young must have a winner and with out the 8th gate of death gai is done.

Kakashi had always the hardest fight, always babysitting somoene and always facing new vilain who are protected with plot (reserved to naruto).Kakuzu never solo'd him he was with hidan while Kakashi had to babysitting team 10. Kakashi said himself that he could kill Kakuzu with kamui despite to finish to hospital.

Kakashi was already winning against Pein, untill Choji clan came to waste everything.

The only reason Itachi won against im is because he fougth 3T Kakashi who were babyisting Kureinai and Asuma btw.

Orochimaru stand no chance against MS Kakashi, but if you talk about part 1 then yes since he was the big vilain.

Sasuke failed to kill Kakashi whereas Kakashi has no intention to kill him and he still owning him without sharingan.

Kakashi fought the whole aktsuki apart Sasori and Konan and only lost to MS Itachi while he only had 3T sharingan, he handled Kisame easily in part 1.He owned Deidara ,He handled both Hidan and Kakuzu in same time while babysitting team 10 and he said himself that he was going to one shot Kakuzu if Naruto didn't come that time, he was winning until Choji clan wasted his perfect plan, he won against Obito in kamui dimension, last hit was Obito only option to survive as he said he profited of him and still admitted that he lost.

Kakashi would be nothing special without his sharingan. He wouldn't have his copied jutsu arsenal and lightning blade wouldn't work without sharing an. So yeah, he would be jonin level at best.

No, I don't think orochimaru has a chance either. Kamui is near instant now, so how is Orochimaru going to deal with that? Kakashi can use the Kamui at least once without drawbacks at this point. He's used it, I'm pretty sure, but don't quote me on this, 7 times in a row in this war arc. This was also when the cloak was gone. (Well it was supposedly gone, but some people argue it was still there, just not visible)

He didn't give Pain a run for his money, he was stomped easily. Furthermore, that wasn't Pein, Deva path said so himself that Pein was a name that denotes to ALL SIX PATHS, that was only two paths, Deva and Ashura. Even furthermore, on top of the fact that it was only two paths, Kakashi had help from THREE members of the Akimichi clan, two of which being the clan head and heir, and still lost in a 4 v 2 battle. On top of that, Kakashi did not in any way hold his own against Hidan and Kakuzu, Kakuzu was fighting team 7, Kakashi only had to fight Hidan and a few masks, and he was on the defense the whole time. When he started fighting the real Kakuzu himself, he got caught in no time at all and had to have Naruto and Yamato save him from getting fried and losing his heart. Correction, he did fight Madara, and got one panelled when Madara hit him with Minato's hand before he could use kamui on him (he was activated kamui even before Minato attacked), and again Madara trolled him by taking his sharingan before he could even react, that could have easily been his head.
