I think that Kabuto isn't done with attacking for starters. I mean edo is his technique so he knows cutting Itachi in half won't kill him. Furthermore I also think that Kabuto has already been placed either in a genjutsu or izanamai. One things for sure...as much as i'd love to see the fight with naruto and tobi more and or 5 kage's and madara...i'm gonna be pissed if Kishi goes back to give everyone a meanwhile type thing.

But the thing is Kabuto is very close to Itachi who is helpless while regenerating, and he has a tag in hand so he can take control of Itachi unless Sasuke reacts fast enough.

OK, I was reading the manga today and I couldn't believe Itachi was being
pushed back into a corner by Kabuto. It was distressing, and I didn't like my favourite character being so weak, or looking weak.

I'm gonna be honest, I did think that Itachi's Izanami would mess up, or maybe Kabuto would counter it. People were telling we with Izanami would woop his ass, but I was doubting the fact that we've seen Kabuto's true Sage Mode yet.

If you look at the image below closely you'll notice Itachi saying "You've already failed." and he makes a handsign. I have a feeling he didn't mess up because we all know he's intelligent. He also looks very concentrated and fixated on what he's doing. Whenever he acts silent, as the way he did in the Manga, shit is about to go down xd

If you look at the image below you'll see even though Itachi is stabbed he STILL has the handsign going. I'm guessing Kabuto is caught in it. One thing I notice is that one of Itachi's eyes has faded. I doubt this is a coincidence. Why would Kishi stop it there? (Obvious answer being for a cliffhanger) But my question is what was with all the foreshadowing of Kabuto's history? Antagonists and Protaganists have died many a time after their history was shown.

What are your opinions? Will Edo Tensei save him? Or has Izanami already kicked in? Give evidence to back up your points.

Maybe Itachi used the izanami on himself or Sasuke? I don't think he is finished off yet. After all, he took 3 or 4 spikes into him from kabuto and yet he is still "alive". I think Itachi will be around until the Edo Tensei is undone.

if you mean dead by "taken down" then no, itachi an edo and cannot die, the most kabuto can do is get control over him again. idk why theres so many people saying itachi is gone

Itachi has allready shown one of Edo Tensei weaknesses , he is the weakness of Edo Tensei = Kotoamatsukami =weakness of edo tensei = Izanami = weakness of edo tensei.

So what if edos can't die, the question was taken down as in defeated, did any one else notice the kabuto had a symbol on his Kunai(some sort of writing)that might redo put him back under control.
