Alright, we all know that the manga & anime both say that samurai's who live there are very strong so considering, Mihawk is considered the world's strongest swordsmen then has he been there and defeated them ( one of their strongest ) ??

I don't know if he learned from them because his style doesn't resemble a samurai much, but i believe he went there and fough someone.
